The @joinmastodon profile, which Mastodon lists as its Twitter account, had more than 100,000 followers as of Sunday and was suspended Thursday.
A day after Twitter suspended a similar account, Mastodon posted a link to its own account following Musk's plane.

The Servers
Mastodon is divided into groups, called servers, based on many topics including the UK, snooker, and security.
Twitter has disabled access to several of the major servers, including the most popular "social" channel.
The Malware
In addition, Twitter prohibits users from publishing links to their Mastodon accounts in their profiles, deeming them "virus."
There is no evidence to substantiate the claim that Mastodon includes malware, which is harmful software that may damage your device.
