In collaboration with YACHT, PAM CUT will present a night of cinema, music, and discussion. With their GRAMMY-nominated seventh studio album, Chain Tripping, Portland's YACHT made music production history in 2019 by working with artificial intelligence.
The Computer Accent, a film by Sebastian Pardo and Riel Roch-Decter, chronicles Chain Tripping's creation and recording as well as the band's colourful past. The movie also offers a more comprehensive examination of artificial intelligence's function and possible effects on the creative process, posing concerns about the direction that art may take and how it will interact with technology.

The discussion between the band and the filmmakers will kick off the event at 7, and The Computer Accent will then be screened. YACHT will perform "Chain Tripping" in its entirety following the conclusion of the movie.
